Mind-Body Syndrome, also known as MBS or TMS, is Dr. John Sarno's approach to body symptoms.

My background includes participation in mindfulness retreats and courses, including a 7-day Mindfulness Facilitators retreat.​

I also have participated in spiritual practices in several traditions.

My education includes:
B.A. in Philosophy from Binghamton University (SUNY Binghamton)
Coursework in creative writing and acting
J.D. (law degree) from Golden Gate University
I have studied psychodynamic therapy, ISTDP, Control Mastery, MBSR, and MBB. I also have studied ACT, CBT, Schema therapy, and psychedelics. Additionally, I have completed the following course from Behavioral Tech: "DBT Skills with Marsha Linehan."

I also have done extensive work in creative writing, and participated in yoga, martial arts, and Feldenkrais.

IFS began more than 40 years ago and now is used in many countries.
