As an IFS practitioner and life coach, I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 IFS training.

I also have completed more than 100 hours of additional IFS training, including:

  • IFS Online Circle (six-month course)

  • Freedom from Trauma, Early Adversity, and Toxic Stress Affecting the Mind and Body

  • Working with Couples

  • IFS for Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Addiction and More

  • Somatic IFS and Chronic Illness

  • The Others Within Us

  • IFS and the Parenting Journey

I also have done extensive self-study in:

  • Clinical psychology

  • Mind Body Syndrome

Mind-Body Syndrome, also known as MBS or TMS, is Dr. John Sarno's approach to body symptoms.

My background includes participation in mindfulness retreats and courses, including a 7-day Mindfulness Facilitators retreat.​

I also have participated in spiritual practices in several traditions.

  • B.A. in Philosophy from Binghamton University (SUNY Binghamton)

  • Coursework in creative writing and acting

  • J.D. (law degree) from Golden Gate University


I have studied psychodynamic therapy, ISTDP, Control Mastery, MBSR, and MBB. I also have studied ACT, CBT, Schema therapy, and psychedelics. Additionally, I have completed the following course from Behavioral Tech: "DBT Skills with Marsha Linehan."

I also have done extensive work in creative writing, and participated in yoga, martial arts, and Feldenkrais.

My pronouns are he/him.

IFS began more than 40 years ago and now is used in many countries.
